Responsibilities

  • Maintain visitor pre-clearance, escort, badge, and access logs
  • Coordinate facilities work without interrupting continuous recording
  • Support safety drills, environmental controls, and restricted-area signage
  • Serve as liaison between field engineering, security vendors, and station administration

Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities coordination, site security, field operations, or lab administration
  • Strong judgment around access control and confidential operational details
  • Comfort working in a rural site with irregular hours during field campaigns
  • Calm written and verbal communication

Preferred experience

  • OSHA, first-aid, incident-command, or emergency-management training
  • Experience at a laboratory, observatory, utility, or field station
