Naomi Ellison has directed the Laboratories since 2016. Her research concerns the propagation of low-frequency signals through the solid earth and the statistical separation of persistent sources from background noise. She joined the Laboratories in 2004 and led the Terrestrial Resonance Program for eight years before her appointment.
